Messaging & Copy
Slogan’s nothing when you have a good idea.
Peggy Olson, Mad Men
There’s “that thing” about you and your business that makes people want to work with you.
Messaging communicates that. Messaging is the voice of your brand.
Copy is the messenger.
What Copywriting is (and what it is not):
In marketing and advertising, the Copywriter is the person who writes the text of advertisements or publicity material–the words are the ad copy.
“Wait. Then what is copyrighting?”
Yeah….that’s not this. Copyrighting is the process of provable creative ownership of intellectual material. In other words, it is a protection, by law, from plagiarism or stealing another’s creative work.
Copyrighting is: ©
It’s a whole legal shebang. CopyPunch has nothing to do with that.
Working with a Copywriter:
Every client and every assignment is unique, and always a collaboration. Part of our job is determining the best method of getting the content out your head and into ours, whether it’s you sending bullet-points or a rough draft, or talking it through with us. We write something, or re-work something you’ve written, and then it’s back in your hands. You provide input along the way, and you always have the final say – we work with you to give you language that is not just what you were looking for, but to ultimately to exceed your expectations for what was possible in your message.
There is nothing more frustrating than wanting to put words to an idea and feeling inadequate at doing that, so I came to CopyPunch. I gave Roberta some pieces of information about what I wanted written up and like a magician, she produced an inspiring, clear, powerful description that I’m very proud to use on my website and give to clients. She heard what I was asking for (even when I thought I was having difficulty explaining) and she TRULY delivered – with speed and professionalism. Will be coming back for more!

Fred: You’re arrogant.
